New Artists To Watch Out In 2017!!

2016 has brought the world amazing talented new artists who've put out great music. I love hearing new artists from different areas and needed to hear different sounds. I started listening to so many new artists who I have been supporting and trying to figure who will blow up and takeover in 2017. There are some of these new artists. Much love to these talents: Lolo Zouai, Kiki Ireland, Marzs, Lexii Alijai, Shaun Sloan, Danileigh, Lee, Milly Roze and Bella Moon.

Watch out for these artists and their new music in 2017!

Lolo Zouai: R&B singer/songwriter from San Francisco but her current location is living the life in New York. The songstress teamed up with producer Swagg R'Celious who has worked with plenty of artists. A couple of months ago, Lolo put out her first single "Options", prod by Swagg R'Celious. So far it has 42.3k plays while her second record "So Real" is becoming a big hit, with 120k plays on Sound Cloud. My honest thoughts on Lolo: she's definitely the new breed of R&B in 2017 and she's getting prepared to release her first EP project this Fall 2017.

Kiki Ireland: Canadian artist Kiki Ireland is someone I have had my eye on for the whole year of 2016. The songstress released her two hit records "I'mma Ride" and "One Night", both prod by Swagg R'Celious. I believe Kiki is the type of artist that everyone could relate to. She's next up in the industry. Meanwhile, the singer is working on her debut EP titled Ice Breaker and that will be out sometime in 2017.

Marzs: What can I say about this guy? I have been supporting this young artist for two years and it's been an awesome run for this kid. Philadelphia native Marzs is that artist who you can vibe out to and listen to everyday. Two years ago, Marzs put out two mix-tapes and two months ago he released his third project Mayfair, and it's been a cold Mayfair season of 2016. I'm always looking forward to seeing him put out another project and make big moves in this new year of 2017.

Lexii Alijai: Now this is an artist who I have been paying very close attention to for the past couple years. Minnesota emcee Lexii Alijai has been grinding from a young age. Everyone claims her as the female version of J.Cole because she's telling true stories in her music. In 2015, Lexii put out her latest mixtape Joseph's Coat. Last year she was doing shows, opening up for Julz, Kehlani and Trina. She is currently working on another project to takeover the new year. Everyone should keep their eyes on Lexii and stop sleeping on her. Lexii Alijai is the new BEST FEMALE RAPPER at a young age.

Shaun J: South Central emcee Shaun J aka Blame Joseph--you can call him whatever. You may recognize him from his performance on 106 & Park a while ago. After that, DJ Mustard signed him to his label and has been blowing up on a low key. People stay sleeping on him. The young emcee is a strong soldier going through a lot in life surviving with sickle cell, but that doesn't stop him from making music. Last year, he did a big performance in Philadelphia opening up for Meek Mill which was really big for him. Shaun J just recently put out a new music video "Just Joseph" which will be available on his next upcoming mix-tape The Motion, dropping this month January 28th. Look out for Shaun J--he's the next new young version of Jay-Z!

Danileigh: A new breed of R&B created great artists but this young female artist is special: 21 year old singer/dancer Danileigh (Dani LAY). Coming from South Florida currently living in Los Angeles who wants to make something to inspire the world with her music. She is currently working on her debut EP in the studio with 3x Grammy nominated producer Yonni (Brooke Valentine, Mickey Shiloh, Trey Songz, Mya,etc). Her project will be dropping this year in March 2017 or around spring season, so keep your eyes out on Danileigh.

Lee: Always interested in hearing good R&B vibe from talented artists but this one is something. Nashville native Lee is a new singer who is trying make big moves in the music industry. "Unfinished Business" is the first single off his debut project which is coming soon in 2017. Check out Lee's music below.

Milly Roze: Another Nashville singer. I am amazed at hearing new voices but this lovely artist Milly has a wonderful voice. She just recently released her new EP Hibiscus in November 2016 and it's been a great run for her. I believe she's going to blow up and be the new artist to watch out for in 2017. She's the next new artist because her lyrics are very poetic, her voice is passionate and the music is on point.

Bella Moon: How many of you have been under a deep spell? Well no worries, Nashville singer/songwriter Bella Moon can fix that by sprinkling some pink potion to get you fall in love with her music.
